JOB SUMMARY:

Do you want to lead a high performing design team where UX is a valued part of the development process?  How about driving the design standards within a company committed to moving the needle on product design and user collaboration? This newly formed position of UX Director will orchestrate the design evolution within PrismHR, partnering closely with leaders across the organization to drive our continued growth as an industry leading platform.

We’re looking for an accomplished UX leader, experienced at mentoring, and coaching designers, who will act as a champion across a rapidly growing HR solution.

SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspire and lead team of UX Designers through the complete product discovery and delivery life-cycle

  • Bring an ability to identify, influence, and prioritize opportunities for greatest impact to build amazing experiences and products.

  • Manage and introduce design standards that will promote common, cross product patterns, enabling teams to move faster.

  • Champion the value of UX and continuously communicate with stakeholders across the business regarding key deliverables and the resulting positive customer outcomes.

  • Sustain and build a healthy, effective, and impactful design team through hiring, talent management, and measurable contributions across the product.

  • Promote a cross-functional design culture that is inclusive of product management, engineering, marketing, customer support and services.

DESIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

  • A leader with 10+ years of experience repeatedly delivering high quality SAAS/B2B products - with 5+ years’ experience in building and coaching teams for high impact results

  • Familiarity with Lean UX in an Agile environment and rapid / prototyping techniques (e.g. design sprints)

  • Completed an advanced degree or training in Human Factors or Human Computer Interaction

  • A motivator who champions team successes and stays humble in your own success

  • A passionate advocate for the customer, who never loses sight of the big picture

  • A curious and continuous learner of their craft who rarely settles for the first answer and constantly seeks new ways to solve problems

  • Bonus points for experience with HR, Benefits, Payroll, Finance or other Human Capital Management systems
